United Nations Global Compact Norway launched the National Ocean Action Platform for Sustainable Business in 2020. We are now nearing the end of the first cycle of the platform and will share an overview of the activities of the platform. We will then look forward to the focus of the platform in 2021, specifically the role finance can play in transitioning to a sustainable blue economy. This is in line with UNGC’s International Ocean platform and the Blue Road to COP26.

The event will also include two panel discussions where attendees can hear from Company CFO’s and Senior Managers on how financial instruments can contribute to more sustainable oceans.

The digital event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 12th (09:00 – 10:30) and will be in English.
